Only two weeks before Eurofurence 22, I lost a scale from my toes on a suitwalk in Hamburg. I expected this to happen sooner or later, but still, not so soon after fixing them from the last walk.

Anyway. Left: original scale, taken from another toe as template.
Middle: finished scale without paint. Made out of "The Green Stuff", by Citadel. Aka as The Green Stuff by Kneadatite. Dual component resin.
Right: Completed first scale. Golden primer, thinned black on top, and a mix of swiss Lascaux silk matte varnish with a drop of gold mixed in.

To hopefully end the problem one for all times, I attached the scales not only to the fur beneath with E6000 but also to the claws with Epoxy Glue.
