After a long day of travel you find yourself wandering though an unfamiliar side of the city. The narrow, winding street has well-worn, but fairly clean cobbles. The cramped, stone storefronts on either side look similarly tired, but perhaps a little better maintained. One little storefront stands out. It has a wooden door painted bright red and a big window made of dozens of small diamond-shaped panes. A multitude of small paper lanterns, each as bright as a fresh daisy, hang all around the window like a fringe. A red awning protects the window and the lanterns from the worst of the elements, but even the slightest breeze makes the lanterns jump and dance.

Suddenly you find your attention drawn to a plump woman dressed in pastel silks idly exhaling a breath of rainbow colored smoke from a long pipe while she casually leans against a wall. Her eyes are distant and dreamy but when she notices your gaze she smiles warmly. "Well met, travelers!" Her voice throaty and maternal, like a gentle grandmother. "What can I help you find today?"

While you consider your answer the thylachine takes another puff from her pipe and releases fresh stream of colors. "Come, come -- everyone is searching for something! A lost amulet? A lost love? A lost fortune? Whatever it is, I can help you find it. Or maybe it's something you don't yet have at all -- like the key to a door not yet opened? The map to a treasure hoard? The secret to a neighbor's wealth? I don't guarantee that you'll get what you desire, but I can point you in the right direction, at least. Or perhaps you just need some potions or scrolls to keep the edge in your battles? Speak up, now. What can Lady Eventide do for you today?"
