So that's it. This project is now officially finished. I can hardly believe it. Before I close there are a few things I would like to say.
"Broken" was never meant to be this large or take this long. When I started I had no idea it would take me five years to complete. Those five years represent ten percent of my entire life. Ten percent! The only things I've ever done that took longer were to graduate from school and pay off a mortgage!
Having said that, I think you can understand why I have changed my mind about writing any sequels. I just don't have it in me.
So now I'm wondering what's next. More writing, for certain. Eventually. I think I need a little break first. There are some things I need to take care of. On top of that, work is looking to get rather, erm, crazy in the coming months. I have no idea what that's going to do to my free time or my creativity.

I've been meaning to read this last chapter for literally months and I'm glad I finally got down to doing it. This was fantastically written. Given everything that's happened in the story already, everything was believable and the fact that they couldn't convince everybody to join the blood oath was a really nice touch. Well done and congrats on finishing the story!

I'm very glad you found it worth your time. I'm also happy to know the work I put into making things believable was worth it. As for what's next, aside from the few shorts and prompts I've done since finishing, I've got a project I'm working on now. The going is slow right now, mostly because of the intrusion of my job. If I can get past the obstacles it shouldn't take more than a month or two to complete. *bows*
