I finally got around to making a proper fursona for myself since it's been a few years since I've done so. My previous fursona was a Papillon dog, who I retired because she no longer suited me anymore. After that, I created Lune who was never really intended to be my fursona, and instead became my mascot/online identity pertaining to art. Toriko is a character that I feel best represents myself in both personality and physical appearance.
I combined two of my favorite animals: a Fennec Fox and an Owl. I wanted them to have a more somber and somewhat gloomy appearance because I'm a very quiet and deep-thinking person. I don't socialize much and I wanted their appearance to reflect that. I have red hair in real life, so I gave Tori red hair as well. Their name is a Japanese name meaning "bird child." I thought it was cute and befitting, so that's why I chose it.
Overall, I think they suit me quite well and I look forward to drawing more of them!
