Happy Sheepy Sunday! Time for another comic page!
This is a really good page, I think. In terms of how I formulated it, at least. My friends already heard this spiel yesterday, but so it's out in the general public, I'll edge out a couple little subtle easter eggs here;
Jenny mentions her father, James, then Creed, then Lazarus in that specific order as a small nod to "the father, the son, and the holy ghost," as the three can fit into those roles. James is obviously her father, Creed is the family's adopted son, and Lazarus, having disappeared and seemingly come back from the dead twice, is a pretty good candidate for a ghost of anyone.
Counting Sheep is stuffed with all kinds of religious etymology and mythos, so keep and eye out for subtle things like that! It might even be worth a re-read to find other things I've already placed, I'm pretty good at carefully crafting each page.
Another small nod is in the first shot of Lazarus's head, where behind him is the sky, the clouds, and even the wind. It's not secret he's Lillian's father to you, and to lay emphasis on this, the sky and wind are where Lillian's strengths lie; able to fly with the Lamb Launcher, and her basic suit is called the Crimson Wind.
