So I bought Batman "The killing joke" animated feature...

Spoilers!
The whole thing was really dull in editing and sound. The story was run through with all the impact of a laundry detergent commercial. As much as I like Mark Hamil's work with the Joker, when he started singing I had to turn it off for awhile.
Adding to a story is ok with me as long as you don't change the original elements of a good story. However Batman screwing Barbra was pretty fucking whack. Commissioner Gordon is a good friend and I can't picture Batman doing the nasty with a friend's daughter. Batman usually screws experienced women who are his equal in some way not some troubled girl who is more than decade younger. Had he rejected her advances it would have been more powerful in the narrative.

And I have a copy of the killing joke, how the freak do they extrapolate the fact that Bruce hugs Barbara in the hospital after the Joker shoots her to mean he's been banging her all this time? I don't buy that for one second in favor of the idea that if she is doing the mattress mambo with any of the other members of the bat family she prefers Dick. Grayson that is.
oh no, I remember the dialogue exactly. Barbara mentioned that after Nightwing left to go to another city she stayed with Batman and Terry commented "As his partner...his...girlfriend?...woah." Heavily implying that Batman and Batgirl did have a physical relationship for at least a short time. Then again, this is the DCAU continuity, the BTAS/STAS/Beyond/JL/etc continuity, this detail doesn't need to be shoehorned into The Killing Joke, which is based off an iconic classic story that didn't need it.
I don't remember that, I got the impression she had a major crush on him but I have mixed feelings on the whole Batman Beyond storyline. There are parts I like and parts I don't. The idea that Barbara married Lucius being one of them. But in some fanfics I have in my head once married the one couple becomes Richard and Barbara Gordon. If Bruce ever does manage to get his head out of his own keister and compromise enough to spend a night or two a week in bed with a significant other rather than busting heads I would hope that someone would be Selena but that's just me.
The first half was bunk, but I hear that was all original for the movie.
The second half was decent, but as far as animated batman movies go, I still prefer 'The Dark Knight Returns' part 1 and 2.
Though even that is missing the internal mono-log and that was some of the best parts of the comic.
