Willing meals are hard to come by. This isn't much of a surprise to most predators. After all, 'getting digested, absorbed and turned from sentient being into predator fat' isn't usually on anyone's to do list. So, when caught, it's pretty much a given that a prey isn't going to be okay with the whole 'being lunch' thing.

Of course, sometimes things get a little blurry once the act's begun. Some predators are rather apt at turning that primal need into a gentle, alluring, but inescapable experience. Their big, powerful forms lord over their prey, yet speak of craving them like they were less a meal and more a lover. With escape cut off and the massive form of the predator beckoning gently to them, thoughts of curiosity might begin to spring up. Sure, they wanted to get away, but that belly seems so soft, and that gullet beckons with a warmth and slick comfort that no bed could ever match.

Most prey don't want to be food...but when there's no choice, maybe there are worse ways to go.
