I really don't know what this has to do with this particular piece of writing yet. But it's a piece I attempted today with that line in mind. I stopped when the idea petered out.

In a world where Furs are forced to live in the ruins of what was once California in the wake of the Great Awakening, Lu'alun (pronounced Lunalun, I thought the accent was more interesting) is one of the few rising practitioner of the Old Magic. The Old Magic disappeared for nearly a thousand years after a nuclear warhead exploded in Trinity, California. But it is back, and those that can wield it own awesome powers barely resisted by even the most advanced science.

I don't know how much further I'll go with this. But I'm going to try. And yes, each further posting will be named after a tarot card.
