Oh look, it's Arik. I've actually had this picture sitting on my computer for awhile now and just now got around to finishing it. The pose was originally very different, with Arik crouched down and walking towards the 'camera', but I ended up hating it so much I abandoned the picture. Coming back to it I realized I still really enjoyed Arik's expression, so I spent way too long playing around with the pose until I ended up with something half decent. Also, bricks are a pain in the ass to draw.

This is actually based on a scene in the comic I plan to make one day. A kind-hearted thief named Roland rescues a recently orphaned Skye from the soldiers who are hunting her down because she's a haggard (a hybrid between the common breed and the royal breed) and all haggards are to be put to death by order of the king. He offers to shelter her, but Roland's other charge, Arik, who has a seething hatred for all haggards, is less than thrilled with this arrangement. Don't worry, it will be explained a lot better in the comic itself.
