That man did more to save animals and had more love for them then anyone, more so furries.. Respect!
And people in his line of work risk death all the time. Steve was rash at times, but the man really, really loved animals. I can't fault the man for that, he poured millions and millions into his love, risked his life..Of course furries, being large part just roleplaying humans would find grins in his death and the media's image sure didn't help.
FYI-Nor Steve or any other person who works with gators or crocs would 'sex' a awake gator.

I loved him in all his Shows and watch with GREAT interest, A lot of times he got extremely careless and badly brused or broken bones when capturing some animals, but now the best has gotten to him... I will alway Treasure and respect the Crocodile Hunter, you will be GREATLY missed. RIP.
He was a cool guy, did a lot for animal rights and conservationist movements. I'm glad they're going to keep the zoo open that he had opened. I sort of figured he'd die of old age. He always seemed sort of invincible when dealing with all those animals; poisonous snakes, sharks, gators...and then to get killed by an animal that only a handful of people have died from...just tragic =(
