Heck, the free paper here (called The Metro) actually published an article last week about internet slang. It read as if someone had just discovered Urban Dictionary, and decided to write a piece about it.

I just found out today that this girl who has been an absolute sod towards me for god knows how long is actually a channer. She knows 4chan, 7chan, the whole spectrum (although she wouldn't give me an answer when I asked her if she knew what ED was). Very few people in my school actually go to the chans regularly, they just pick up the most popular memes through pop culture regurgitations of the crap.

She's mainly a dick to me because I tried to troll her during my ED days, failed miserably, and she turned it right around on me. Explains quite a bit, really.

I dodged that bullet with Wachowski Bros.-inspired alacrity or was as lucky as Custer's horse because I never met anybody given to such profane abuse of absurd web humor while in high school. That was merely 2 short years ago rounding up, too.

I casually applied anything derived of the anti-culture to an incident directly related to those communities and was easily the biggest faggot I knew, and still soley with other friends who spent way too much time hiding from air and light. That amounted to a grand total of 4 douchebags counting myself.
