More giftart. This is my character Khephren, a sphinx. Yes, not exactly your traditional sphinx, but I consider it artistic license. XD

Does anybody remember a few years back when "adoptable art" was all the rage? Artists would take various fandom characters or OCs and turn them into kitties or foxes or bunnies or wtf-ever, then offer them for online "adoption"? There was one site that turned them into sphinxes, but rather than being traditional sphinxes (lions' bodies and human heads), these were floofy kitty-types with wings and feathers in various places. Kheph here was based on those, and he's kind of taken on a life of his own since then. Sadly, I abandoned him for a while as other interests came up, but he's always been lurking around in some corner, and recently I fell back in love with him.

I wish I could remember the name of the particular artist who did this for me, but alas, such information is lost to the mists of time. He and I met on the SPR MUCK, and he was so taken with Kheph's concept he did some giftart for me. To this day I'm grateful for his adorable interpretation of my floofball.
