You all remember them, right? Well having spent entirely too much in starbound, I stumbled upon 's Avali race as a mod for it a couple nights ago. And they are the most cute space raptors that ever were, I love them so much ; u ; Needless to say if you've ever seen one, playing as an Avali made me crave my old sharkbirds, but not without a little updating to the design. More feathery flapflaps and pawsy feets.
Honestly I feel a little bad about this, because they already felt like such a similar thing (those let's be honest, raptors might as well be sharks with feathers) especially with Kyte's previous shift to four ears, but sharkbirds were always my favorite and I just never felt like the wing hands or birb feet looked terribly good or were maybe just plain out of the scope of my art ability to pull off well.
