Sadly when we got to the vet yesterday what we thought was mearly an infection from Salems bad teeth turned out to be cancer spreading up along his jaw line, it had already metastasized in his lymph-nodes. To make matters worse he also had a heart mummer. there was nothing we could do at 24 Salem was so old he'd never survive surgery and it was wrong to make him suffer through it. so at 4:30 yesterday I had to tell my best friend in the world good bye... Happy birthday to me...

sorry to be a downer I've just had salem so long I really can't imagine the house with out him
