Sergals have the best 3/4 profiles.

Yes they're great, but front on is kinda tough. Most front on drawings are completely wrong actually.

It's like the eagle problem, from the side it looks good, majestic and fierce but from the (direct) front it just looks scared and confused.
From what I've seen Sergals benefit more of a slight front-down or a front-up view headshot. Even I think my front view ref (head) might be wrong. Any advice please?

Yes, kinda the eagle Problem.
The thing is that the thing we know as a frontal view of a Sergal is pretty wrong. According to the wiki they can't (or just barely can) look straight forward with both eyes, which is the same with my CGI Sergal btw. I can't really give you an advice...I just know that it doesn't work in 3D, you can either have a Sergal which looks correct from the side or from the front...thanks mick. xD
