He! I understand perfectly, over here, only the biggest warbird airshow can fly around 8 aircrafts (Beech 18, DC-3, P-51D, Spitfire Mk.XIX and, when they have luck, P-38 and B-25) but that doesn't happen anywhere else... But yes, it's quite impressive and awesome moment to hear so much old and beautiful engines roaring in front of you...
As for the B-17, it's the B-17G-105-VE c/n 8693 "Sally B" that has the nose art of "Sally B", it's original nose art, on the left side and the "Memphis Bell" nose art on the right side, it was painted for filming the movie "Memphis Bell" in the one she flew.
