Made a lil' something to commemorate ; v ;
This is very special to me - a year ago I was a mess, emotionally, physically and it was hard to know who I was...who I wanted to be, and who I wanted to become.
I was broken, in a lot of trouble, turmoil, and stress, and even though some of those things still exist today, I am far better off now.
I've learned to get help, I've learned to help myself.
And it's all thanks to you guys.
I wouldn't be here without your constant support, and your vigilance.
I may be strong in your eyes, but I have everything to thank to each and every one of you.
I've lost over the past year more than I can count, but hell I've gained so much to replace it and more.
Thank you, thank you THANK YOU, each and every one of you.
You helped me so much.
I have changed, and I'm continuing to change.
I will continue to grow, to learn, and to live thanks to all of you.
A blessing in itself, I can't tell you how lucky I am.
You'll never know how much this means to me.
And maybe one day I'll sit down and look back on this time and say "do you remember that self-conscious, scared, and self-judging little girl? The one that used to panic and cry, and think nothing of herself?" and you'll all keep telling me "she could always count on us, and we love her for who she is, it's why we're here now." and all I will probably be able to do is smile and maybe still cry, because it's just a memory of what I once was and I've finally become who I wanted to be.
Thank you, everyone. I've finally not felt so terribly alone for a while now, even if I have no one by my side it is comforting to know each and every one of you is here for me, and I'll do my best to remember it. ^^
I hope to strive to do bigger and better things in the future, and I hope you choose to join me on that journey.

Remember to look inside from time to time and breathe life into that fire that resides in your core. Fuel the fire that refuses to be dimmed by the Storms of life.
You have seen how strong you can be. Go forth and show another how strong they can be. For the life of your lantern will not diminish as you help others, but rather it shall grow brighter with each life you in turn help.
That is my purpose in life, to be the Lantern In The Storm, to help give light to those in search for a path in the dark.
May your found path, lit by the lanterns of those around you, continue to light the way for others. Though, I shall say that I find solace in the dark, for from there, I find those in need.
