Originally, I wanted to make My own Mario Kart racer, so I immediately had to make a Koopa, as I race with Bowser in MKWii. THIS piece was actually intended to just be the first practice sketch, but quickly just turned into the piece. I felt I just NAILED what I was going for in this first attempt. So while he's more vague as a Mario Kart racer, he's definitely at home in the Mushroom Kingdom.

And so, this Kaptain Koopa. He's the leader of an elite group of hot-shot, bad-ass, Sky Troopas.

I actually wouldn't mind drawing him again, if it isn't TOO cliche that I made a Koopa, heh heh. I DO love him already, though. It was natural for me to make a Koopa based of ME and my Mascot (what with the wings), and it's from that, that I thought, now a WINGED "bowser-esque" Koopa, I've not seen. And SHOULDN'T the Sky-Troopas have their ooown boss to answer to and follow? ...I know, I thought so too.
