Charlotte Lewis is an anthropomorphic doe that lives in a world full of humans. As you might guess, her background is a bit complicated.
She used to be a human and a guy, a pretty average guy named Charles Lewis. One day, he was invited to a costume party. He looked for a costume shop at the mall, or at least for some props, but stumbled upon Spells'r'us.
The Wizard sold him a zipper labelled "instant costume". Indeed, when he put it on, and then opened the zipper, she came out.
She was the life of the party, nobody knew who she was and complimented her on her costume. Of course, like in most SRU stories, she didn't properly follow the instructions. When she came back home, she was supposed to slip back in her old skin and take off the zipper. She didn't.
While she slept, reality readjusted to the new truth. Not only could she not return to her human male self as the skinsuit vanished,, but memories of others were edited to remember her as she was now.
One might assume that adapting to such a weird, new life might have been hard, but she quickly made her peace with her new form, and enjoys being able to turn the gazes of men and women with her exotic looks.
