Vicious Royalty
Inspiration: Perytons
Perytons are often depicted one of two ways, one version depicts a gentle doe, but on occasion there are stags, with wings extended out from their body much like a cervidae cousin of Pegasus.
The other version is a vicious, brutal looking creature with a bird-like body and wings, crowned with the head of a carnivore mouthed buck and full rack of antlers. Descending from the heavens to gore and rend unsuspecting prey.
Sadly the Peryton is an alleged beast of mythology, it's name and form imagined and coined by Jorge Luis Borges in his Book of Imaginary Beings, and while its form decorates no walls of the past in bas reliefs. It has made its presence known in the portraits and writings of pop culture fantasy.

This depiction is not one I see often, so I made it one of the designs hosted in the recent adoption.
