The plane at finally stopped down the runway, and then they three ran for Ash with Circuit and Torrent at the lead.
"How much track to we have to cover?" Torrent asked as she turned "A mile?"
"9.423 miles." Replied the phone in Analie's scarf "An easy jog"
"Easy jog?" Copleand exclaimed from behind "You got to be kidding me."
Circuit still just kept on running, her phone did the talking "No joke, just another 9.223 miles. We have to get to their base of operations ASAP."
"She's right." Torrent added as she ran "There's no telling what those kids will be going through there."
"Why do I get the feeling though that's not exactly how Analie sees it." Copleand said while running
"Don't be that way, Copleand." Torrent snapped "She's as concerned as we are to save those kids."
"Maybe, She's saved lives before..." Copleand said "I'm just wondering how come she cares about them. Why do they matter to her?"
"Well, why do you care for them?"
"I... Well...." Copleand tried to answer while running but for a while she didn't "My dad use to care because people who live could become customers, but..."
"What?"
"I can't really explain it." And tried to run faster and pass Torrent.
"Then why'd you get so mad at the people who were selling the kids?" Torrent asked as she ran by "They mean something right?"
Circuit suddenly slid into cover, and Copleand tripped over her. "Hey!" She hissed, but then she was pulled back into the bushes by her feet "What the heck, Ana!"
Circuit then repointed through the pushes. Torrent ahd already joined them and saw the large old buildings of the power plant. Circuit's phone went to speaker. "Ash do you read us? We've arrived."
"Good, but there's some bad news here too." Ash said through the same phone "I've got some more people on the opposite side of the place. looks like reinforcements."
