Tegulus is a recent Liz-Tec acquisition. It had no sapient life, and the 'conquering' mostly took place in paperwork and cash settlements. The actual reason why the super-corporation was set on this planet is unknown, as it is far, far removed from other inhabited worlds (making it hard for even them to defend as supplies have a long way to go if they are to remain undetected, ie, no long jumps) and yields little beyond exotic plants and animals, mostly reptiles.
