haha, i've never played around with the timer on the XPS, shutter only stays open for 30 seconds? That's poopy!
I do need to get into more night photography, there is a perfect spot on my property, when the north star is in the right spot, to re-create the north start picture, which is one i'm absolutely dying to do.
