Steam Wyverns are steam powered machines given life by a captured soul. Some know how to create more of their kind, but the capturing and introduction of a soul is a difficult process, often requiring the help of someone or something else with more abilities. They require only water as sustenance which is boiled to provide them with power. Excess steam expels from between their armor plates and mouths. It is unknown how the first was made, but it is thought that someone performed a soul binding ritual on a machine they created.

Culture:
Steam Wyverns are so few and far between that it is incredibly rare to see more than one in the same place. They usually hide out in abandoned and isolated buildings. Their minds are full of fragmented memories and bits of personality from their previous life. They tend to wander aimlessly, searching for some kind of purpose, but one thing most Steam Wyverns have in common is their loyalty and highly protective behaviour.

Bio:
From head to feet, they can be anywhere from 5 feet to 12 feet tall, though most are somewhere in the middle of this range. Their bodies are filled with water channels. Ingested water is stored in a cooling section where it can be preserved until needed. All Steam Wyverns have protective metal plates over their chests and often all along their bodies as well. Their soul binding point is beneath the chest armor.

Steam Wyverns have a rare chance of having an extra set of wings.
