Apparently I'M horrible at keeping my plans of not keeping my plans by going on a hiatus/hermit mode by still publishing stuff.
Well fuck
Some old sketch I had laying around, and despite Nim suggesting me that the sketch was good enough to submit, I decided to finish this one up as sort of a warm-up for some old projects I have laying around - which I'm not going to name out of embarrassment.
To be honest, I submitted this one to fish for compliments and feel encouraged to work on my other stuff.
Hokay, some of you may recognise the gal as Elise; I'd love to make her a more developed character, depicting in more casual scenarios not just scuba diving and crap like that. I did a little redesign, mostly small ones, nothing worthy of mentioning other than her heir getting darker to fit her coat colour, and some red dye in her hair for edginess.
... and glasses to make her look smart, because why put effort into character development.
I'm too lazy to write up her bio her now, but will do once I catch up with myself and make her a second pit
Yeah, so, I worked with super lazy, messy outlines and somewhat lazy colouring, but I hope the result isn't that bad.

But yis, her hair was actually a bit of an accident; when I coloured Fera's lines for Elise, I added too much red in her hair, that made it look like it was dyed, and ... kinda liked it? Funny because I would have never tried it intentionally c:

What have we learned? Always listen to Nim. Also God man your "hope it's good art" is like the holy grail to me, pic your ass up and keep being awesome, and other sucky compliment words I don't know imagine me saying more. You are awesome your work is awesome. And I love the glasses they are an awesome touch, she looks absolutely fantastic.
Yeah ... she seems awfully right quiet often :D
Thank you for the kind words, they are all really encouraging, not only for this character, but for my arts in general ^^ I'm trying to loosen up, avoid focusing on unnecessary details and emphasise the important parts, all while having a nice relaxed style.

Awww, thank you ^^ Hearing from you with your good taste in prettiness is a very lovely compliment <3 But yis. like, it was a total accident when I slapped colours on Fera's lines back than, and really loved the random result ... it's totally something I would have never tried on my own, yet feels so fitting for her.
Ahahah, well, you can always revert to a short hair style when taking care of the long one is too much of a hassle ^^
Ah, it's more about crying wolf all the time :D

Ah, it's an ancient Hungarian method, doing semi-clean lines at first then fucking them up with some jerky hand movements + use super thick brushes :D
Maybe I'll show you in a .... streaaaaaaam ... -w-
