This pair of models is from Reaper miniatures and other than being re based on 25 mm square bases have had no modification. There are things I like as well as dislike about the model aesthetics but I do think they are very excellent depictions of fantasy gnoll warriors. I painted them in a pelage I want to associate with 'common' gnoll fur patterns. I also wanted to show off their signature warpaint.

I use the model to represent seasoned gnoll warriors from the outcast tribe of the white spiral. They are exiles or drifters from traditional gnoll culture. Their values have been weighed by far-grey the wanderer or Mhattae and judged worthy of invitation to their tribe. Although highly individualistic and often prone to unpredictable or anti social behavior they are united by a sense of fear, respect, and apocalyptic desperation that the Albino Prophet, Mhattae preaches.
