“Hey, could I a prescription refill?”
Tai flicked through the vests with one hand, holding the phone to her ear with the other. Several expansive experiences culminating together, had given her a mild case of blueberrism – very treatable, she’d just go through week cycles of when it’d start to flare up. Usually signaled by a blue tinge and a slight puffiness around her middle.
“I’m afraid we’re fresh out at the moment. I can put it on order for you? Send it out as soon as it arrives.”
“Oh? How long?” She asked, looking over top –on sale too.
“Well, with the rareness of the condition and the non emergency nature of yours, we wouldn’t be able to give you a date. Could be anything from weeks to a month.”
“…Oh.” Tai paused, starting down at her stomach paunch – usually the most it got. “Okay, well keep me posted, I guess.” Hanging up with a sigh, carrying the vest over to an assistant. “Have you got this in a bigger size?”
