I no longer own Kyovo but I am keeping this photo as a great memory!
Here she is all finished! Wow. I can't believe she is done! I started on her MONTHS ago, only chipping away slowly. Then, bam!! Shes here!
What she features:
-static eyes
-lined head
-short or long tongue
-dog toy squeaker in nose
-hand crafted plastic teeth and tongue piercing
I decided against follow me eyes, well because, I'm still new to this and couldn't quite get them right. I think static looks WAY better for her character anyway.
Her tongue is actually one, not two. I have attaching magnets on the tongue and inside the mouth to make it short or long.
The teeth and tongue piercing are made by me! I used a mold-able plastic (which I have been using for years with cosplay) to form the shapes! I love this stuff, easy to craft, lightweight, paints easily. Its called instamorph and I HIGHLY recommend it!!
Im so excited about her UV yellow fur! I cant wait to blind people, haha! I wish her eyebrows glowed too, but I couldn't find any UV fleece! Also, since everyone keeps asking, this is where I got the UV reactive fur! NEON YELLOW FUR
Im so happy her head came out as it did. I was having such an existential crisis trying to make her look hyena and stoned/grumpy. It was a challenge. Hyenas are hard, hah! I of course, see some errors, such as the way of the artist, but as Bob Ross told me "Happy Little Mistakes".
Now on to more work! Her bodysuit is 80% done but nothing else. I hope to have her finished for my next con, Sacanime in September!
