fayotter and  fox0808 Consume a seemingly endless sushi buffet. But it comes at a somewhat unusual price.

As they began eating everything seemed simple and normal at first. After the first few bites of rolls from the decorative short log table in front of them, they began to see why people came in to the Lutra buffet and never seemed to want to leave. Almost like magic after polishing their first plate, yet another three had snuck in from out of nowhere in front of them.

Not too long in, both Fay and Dune started to feel a tad tingly, they didn't really make a note of it outloud though, because their mouths were full almost the entire time.
Fay was mostly unconcerned, pretending not to notice when Dune let out his first squeak as his new whiskers popped out.

Dune nervously burped after his 4th shrimp and salmon plate, beginning to become suspicious. Briefly snapping out of his eating trance, he noticed the webbing that had begun to form between his fingers. As he turned his attention to Fay to exclaim his disbelief, a paw holding a pair of chopsticks from the same direction popped another roll in his mouth. Reminded of his hunger, Dune quickly stuffed a few more pieces in his mouth.

Pretty soon, both of the former young men grew tired of using chopsticks, instead opting for the more traditional fish in paw approach. The plates disappearing and replaced with refills almost endlessly.

Losing track of the time, Dune lifted his snout up, what remained of his clothing had all but torn off from his expanding body. He sniffed the air and let out a soft squeak.
All he could think about was when more sushi would be coming.
Fay licked his claws, surveying the results of their buffet with a sly grin. He picked their dinner spot for this very reason after all.
The two rotund otters laid back and relaxed as their buffet concluded.

As they laid there, they both began concocting the same idea, to take a long swim and catch some more sushi for later.
