To my excitement and joy, my fursuit by DHC came by in the mail just last night! I soon tried it on, and everything seems to be just as I hoped, hehe.
Unfortunately, I'm currently without my camera bodies while they're both being cleaned and calibrated by Canon, so I went outside and whipped out my cell phone. This is what the head looks like, haha.
If the bottom jaw looks off to one side, there actually aren't any problems with the suit being symmetrical or having imperfections, I'd say it was a combination of my angle and not totally fluffing-out the suit after being in a box for a while, hehe.
Finally, naw, I didn't drive around anywhere with the head on, although I probably *could* have, there's more visibility and ventilation than I was originally thinking, lol.
More/better images once my real cameras come back! :)

Wow! That really is a GOOD fursuit. When I get to college, memo to contact these guys for my fursuit cuz I saw they're gallery and these guys know what they're doing. I don't think I could make a suit myself (disaster will ensure if I do) I saw the pic of the guy posing in the suit for you (very huggable, btw) and you must've been excited as to finally receive it.
Question: How do you see in it? Are the eyes like, transparent or something?
Another question: How much did you pay for yours? Need a rough idea so I can start saving since college is only 3 years away (not far now)

Yup, I was pretty darn happy to finally get it, hehe.
The eyes are a mesh of sorts, and they're fairly easy to see out of. It's pretty easy to breathe out of the head, as well.
Depending on suit design, most makers will generally start in the $1,300 to $1,800 range for a full suit. However, your character's design and complexity affects the price by quite a bit, so your best bet would be to ask for a quote when you have a good idea of what you'd like. Then, you'll know exactly how much to save up. :)

Thanks!
Yeah, both the 20D and 5D were front-focusing with all of my lenses, mainly the 70-200 f/2.8L IS, so I thought I'd see what would happen if they were all adjusted back to stock. And, boy, the 5D is a king of dust magnets, so a good, professional cleaning wouldn't have hurt, either, hehe.
I'm quite envious that you probably wouldn't have to go through this process with your D700, I can't just microadjust my lenses like you can! :)
