Allow me to shed some light on the Germany part:
In Gen IV (Not Gen III, as I thought), in Veilstone City, there's a French girl (In all other versions, she speaks English), asking the player whether or not they like pokemon. Come Gen VI, and the region is based off of France. In Gen VI, there is a German person saying, roughly "Pokemon are in the pokeball. I sit on the chair.". Thus, the prediction that Gen VII would take place in Germany.
Knowing this isn't the case, it could be possible that the actual region comes two generations after the "easter egg", thus Germany would likely be the setting for Generation VIII. (Not IX, as I predicted earlier)

Sorry to burst your bubble but that was more of an introduction into the trading of international pokemon i.e. pokemon that, after traded, would allow you to see their pokedex in a different language; a concept that was introduced in gen 4 but only specific to a few species like, if I remember correctly, magikarp ponyta and pikachu.
In gen 5, international trading was expanded, and thus there are a ton of trainers in the game speaking a wide variety of languages; the ones at the top of my head being spanish, italian, french, german, and I think portuguese. From then on there had always been international NPCs in the games to highlight pokemons global reach and the fact that global trading was more and more common place.
So while Germany being a region inspiration is a possibility, the theory supporting that possibility doesnt hold true. By that logic someone in gen 5 would have been speaking native hawaiian. In fact, I believe, the closest we got to a reference of a future game was the souvenir item in gen 6 which hinted the islander culture to be introduced in gen 7. (And even then it was generally ambiguous, meaning the item could have been referencing gen 7 or gen 128 for all we know)

You realize I wasnt attacking you right? Youre free to have your own opinions and predictions, but I was just offering counterpoints in a healthy debate that was not meant to attack. No one here said you werent allowed to present your own thoughts. If you misinterpreted it in any other way than Im sorry.
