Here is Rain and his child, according to a Trancy Mick lineart dating from before 2005.
I spent a lot of time and lingered on the shading effects before getting a satisfactory result. Coloring is one thing, but bringing out the shapes is another thing when you have no basis in drawing ... (><)
Anyway, that's it, I have my colorized sergal ^^

Général Rain Silves de la race des Sergals, un personnage imaginé par le dessinateur japonais Trancy Mick dont le lien est en commentaire ;)
Ce personnage n'existe que dans le fandom mais Trancy Mick a écrit plusieurs histoires de guerres épiques sur cette race (helas uniquement en japonais...)

Really? One thing is the fact that Mick doesn't often portray moreso negatively implying scenes between Jakk and Rain, but there have been moments...
In this one: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2772613/ , there's the little idea that Rain is a big ol' mean mom who wants to gobble up Jakk. 0o...
And in http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2505561/ , there's the even more powerful implication that Jakk is a kind of slave (or Heaven knows what else...) to Rain...
It was somewhere that I read that when - or if ever - Rain decided/decides to torture Jakk, it would only be meant for his own good...
But I think I also remember reading that a part of this torture was the possibility of EATING him! ...
Oh, and I'm gonna watch you nowz. =^m^=
Not only is your avi one of the coolest ones I've ever seen before, but I think it'd be really cool to watch someone who's got a part in writings concerning Rain.

Ofcourse~ Though, as we see here- this is the Old Canon Rain and Jakk.
Their behavior is much different than the big, mean mom of the New Canon (Which scares me, which is why I WILL NOT play the New Canon).
Even more- I know little of Jakk, just his relation. I'm sure if he were to be tortured, Rain would make sure it keeps him alive.

This is definitely not Jakk. This is a 2005 piece.
Notice her tongue is NOT blue tinged and split.
at that era, Jakk was not even considered to be her son, but a Reono soldier, who was captured and became her slave. although she did have several other children(as noted in the original Japanese wiki) + "many secret children"
The old canon rain was the barbaric one(but VERY complex and multi-faceted). The new canon is the simplified joan of arc tragic character, which i'd agree for a different reason, is a bit more difficult to warm up to.

I remember this piece. I thought it was drawn by Miss Mick. XD
I really love this one. There's lots of folks who don't like sergals because they think poorly of them ("BOO! BOO!" to that notion. =\_/=... *kitty disagreement*), but I really like the sergals. They're just the coolest creatures ever. XD

...its portrayal has a "special parental feeling" about it that's is a very prominent theme in my stories (and the world that surrounds them).
