The swirling snow falling all around her as the sun drew a close to the day.
Kinara sits down on the curb, sighing looks down at her paws.
*Maybe he is finally done with me.* She thought. *After all it has been a year since we've talked or seen each other.*
Crunching in the snow makes her ear twitch. Her head snaps up to a beautiful site.
A white and lime green husky with his tuff of hair covering his one blue eye while his brown one looked down at her.
She timidly gets up, they stare down at the ground hardly able to look at each other.
No longer able to hold back Kinara runs at him, he catches her tightly in his arms
Her tears begin to flow without restraint
"Kenic I-" She breathes
"Sshhh, I know." Kenic's deep voice soothed her
She could feel his quick intakes of breath knowing that he was silently tearing up as well.
All night they held on to one another, neither one of them wanting to loose the feeling of being whole.
After a year apart nothing had changed.
*Never again will I let go of you*
