Augustus is one of the only of their kind so it can get lonely wandering around the vast world. Running across another creature of similar awareness to them is a rare occurrence and it can be years between before one monster sees another. Even when monsters do come across one another, the meeting may be brief and not always friendly.
Augustus is a solitary creature by nature, but having run across many a good monster in its life, it sometimes craves the presence of another being.
