Maia, H.A. Space Lynx - Design Commssion from Jazzlioness
Maia here, is a High Altitude Lynx. 'These lynx are different from most lynx species - they doen't shed their winter coat ever, and they have a long tail compared to the other normal species of lynx. I named this species "High Altitude" because I would imagine that during the summer, they like to stay up in snowy trees in the mountain peeks, but since most animals migrate down the mountains in the summer to raise young, find food, etc., the H.A. Lynx goes after water-based prey (otters, beavers, fish, and the occasional baby deer who crosses the lakes). This is so that they doesn't overheat in the summer because of their thick, plush coat.'*
Her coat colours are inspired by a range of celestial phenomena.
