I'll be honest, can't in the slightest figure out whats going on here. Too much dust, and what are those black things?
Leave sandstorms in the background past the DOF marker, the foreground objects need to be at least 80% visible.
I'd also recommend running the exported image through photoshop or whatever image editor you use to apply some hard-tint contrast to it, it should bring out the shapes a bit more, because the pony models rely on color to differentiate them from their surroundings.
Try to add some angular variety to... whatever they are, because here they look copy-pasted; thats something you should try to hide when you put duplicates in pictures...
Be sure to pose everything too, "T-posing" goin on with fluttershy there

As I've said on my recent journal I'm re-upping every Image I put on Da to Here, My Tumblr, Derpi-booru and Inkbunny. Starting with my first image and going up. So yea, this image and a few of the following ones are and always will be total utter shit XD.
This was when I was first learning how to use both SFM and Gmod and where I got a habit of overusing smoke effects. But if you look at my more current stuff (on Da) I like to think I've gotten better. Like with this Last one standing.
Wouldn't say it was too much if mentioned... a year or two ago XD
