I was originally trying to pick a song for the drawing vid of the

pic but then I heard this song I hadn't listened to in years and it brought back memories. It inspired me to draw this pic of BigMac and ApplePie. I've been asked after thanks for listening how she was affected by her parents splitting up when she was a baby and well... here's you answer. Truth is it's kinda complicated.
ApplePie was raised on the Pie family rock farm by her mother, aunt Limestone and grandmother. BigMac would see his daughter on birthdays and holidays that was standard, though usually they would meet up in Ponyville. This year they were having her 16th birthday party at her house. As usual she seemed happy to see him. He wished he could visit her more often though he was truthfully still afraid of his ex-wife. It was only when he found a small tin lunchbox under his daughters bed that he realized just how much he had messed up. His daughter had been chatting with him on her bed and left to go talk help her grandmother for a moment. When he found the box he looked about to see no pony was around. It was blue and covered in various Ponyville stamps. He opened to find the rust tin lunchbox filled with envelopes, all of them addressed to him. He opened one, and then another, and another... They were filled with words she never had the strength to say to his face. His eyes began to well up and hard lump formed in his throat.
"Dad what are you doing!" Apple screamed.
BigMac dropped the box on the floor and turned to see his daughter standing in the doorway with tears in her eyes.
"You weren't supposed to read those..."
