For me, one of the most meaningfull scenes from "The Force Awakens" was when R2-D2, having wakened from his "sleep mode", projected a hologram of galaxy, with BB-8 projecting the missing piece, completing the picture, and mystery of the MIA Luke Skywalker. Two generations comming together, the old and the young. It was like the passing of the torch.

We'll still be seeing more of R2 of course, but without the guy in the can, it's not going to be the same.

Let us rejoice for Kenny, who has now become one with the Force.
