Yeah go watch Terry Crews Old Spice commericals if you haven't. Actually, doesn't matter cause they're so powerful you know what they are even if you haven't seen them! They're so powerful you're watching them right now, even if you're not at a computer or TV! They're so powerful you just ran to the store and bought a can without realizing!
First of some speed drills I'm gonna do, this time I'm actually thinking of technique and trying to be loose how I make lines. In this case I'm not thinking heavily on direct proportions and trying to identify my actual speed weaknesses. I could go on about this but basically I cut down on redrawing something 3 times by only penciling in the construction then fearlessly going right to ink, trying not to worry about every line and being super clean, and not switching my pen size more than a single time. I believe speed is important in drawing for various reasons (and seriously, it's funner) and I hope these will not look too rushed as I continue to do these specifically for speed.
