Remember that really high luck value? There's a running joke in the group that I'm no longer allowed to repair radios and elevators, two of the most commonly broken things in the wasteland. The reason? Pearl has never rolled worse than a critical success on those two things. Often bypassing 1/3 of the DM's encounters or puzzles.

Elevator into abandoned military base? Skip a floor full of ghosts and a floor full of mutant intelligent spiders skip directly to prize.
Broken radio in general store? Get a momentary burst of an impending military strike on the town, begin evacuations
Elevator in other abandoned military research base? Reroute power to the lift, bypassing broken wires and preventing the shorted lift from causing the facility to blow a fuse that would've needed resetting.
Radio in military base? Bypass needing to locate dead quest npcs and tap directly into their emergency tracker beacon.
