I just was looking through sone stuff as I found a photo...
I found a photo that I took of my beloved sheperd dog like 5 or 6 years ago, when he was just 2 or 3 years old... he was so playful and so full of happiness as you see on that photo.
Well, as some of you already know, that he died last year just one week before my birthday because of a not repairable illnes in his spine.
I know this memory picture doesn't look pretty and full with any additions like flowers in the edge, but I just loved this dog, he wasn't just a pet, for me he was a friend, the best 4 legged friend on the world.
I hope he lives in peace upon the sky, and maybe, when I should die one day in many many years, I hope to see him again...

so now you know how I felt when my parents had to take him down... and the bad zthing is they didn't want such a big dog again, because we haven't enough money for that much of dog food again, so she bought us a fuzzy small dog, well, she's nice, but sometimes very noisy and... so small, that I call her hamster instead of a dog
ich weiß wie du fühlst... ich bin mit einer deutschen schäferhünding aufgewachsen sozusagen. aber das war noch die alte züchtung, ohne irgendwelche probleme mit HD oder rückgrat. sie wurde ungefähr 14 jahre alt, als ihre nieren plötzlich aufgaben. und nach einem wochenende ohne erreichbaren tierarzt war sie zu krank, udn musste eingeschläfert werden. :P
ist jetzt 16 jahre her, aber ich vermisse sie immer noch. *strubbel*

i know how you feel i had a dog once.. had a tail as hard as steel.. and would always wag when he was stood next to you .. your leg would be covered in bruises but he was a good dog ^^.. but he died when i was 7.... i cried for ages when i found out because he died when i was in school D=...
and then there was the puppy that we had who had to be put down because of a illness that he had... he was called scrappy.. because he was always ripping things up xD... i miss them T_T

You have the right to remember him and even cry if you want, he is a part of your life and, that, no one will ever be able to take away from you. *hugs you close* It is most sweet of you to share these memories and such wonderful feelings. <3

Das tut mir sehr leid, was da mit deinem wuffel passiert ist, aber ich denke das du gerade durch solche taten, wie etwa dieses bild posten, die erinnerung an ihn wachhältst und er somit niemals wirklich tot sein wird, denn dein hund lebt in dir weiter, er ist ein teil von dir geworden, eine art schutzengel. ja, davon bin ich überzeugt.

I'm so sorry about that DJ.....it reminds me of when my golden retriever died.....when we first moved out here I was soo lonely, because I did not have any friends, so my parents bought me a puppy. He was so cute and he was my best friend...my only friend...but one day Oct 15 2005, he was 3yrs old, we were playing out in the backyard when he suddenly colapsed...I ran over to him but there was nothing I could do.....he died in my arms ....sorry about this but I miss my dog too...
