Hey, guess what. Yes, it's my birthday today. I'm officially an old woof. When you grow older, you come to the terrible realisation, that you only get cake and gifts from your loved ones, not to celebrate the day you were born, but to distract and comfort you from the fact, that you inch closer to the next big decade, that will make you feel so ancient. How can I by close to my 30s already? Ah, no! Where is my cake? I'm in dire need of one!

Aaaaanyway...

I got this lovely artwork from a friend of mine as a gift. It depicts me teaching him to make a proper cake. Apparently he has heard of my marvelous cooking skills and wants to learn from them. Yeah, good choice, buddy! Also apparently, we only need some milk and eggs to make a cake. On a side note, I do wonder whose kitchen this one is. It can't be mine, I ensure you, my kitchen is always crammed with cooking utensils and it's properly messy, because every time it looks this cut and clean, I have to cook again and the entire circle beings anew. Oh well. Absolutely adorable nonetheless.
