Took a break from working on the book to make some art cards, these are fun and usually only take a couple hours to complete. ACEO/Art Cards are 2.5X3.5 inches. I did these with micron pens, water colors, colored pencils and gel pens.
It’s amazing what a mess I made just to create these two pieces. Digital medium is so much more neat and tidy! Take a look at my messy work area!

Strathmore apparently puts out several types, so I picked up a couple packs of the "Textured" cards at a local art supply store.
Dick Blick apparently carries them too: http://www.dickblick.com/products/s.....trading-cards/
... They're cheaper there than what I paid locally.

very nice and colourful, and the tribals make for a mystical atmosphere on these tiny art pieces. :)
I have found a set of them when tidying up a drawer. they apparently were meant to serve as hand-written greeting card material, because there were tiny envelopes with them. they look like ancient pergament paper, relatively thick, and not too rough. I have yet to decide what to do with them. :)
