"When darkness came, the travelled three
Came back at dusk to join their family.
Their mother proud, in burrow shroud,
Lay two kits more to join the jubilee.
Each aptly named, the quintet kits
Of herbs and flowers were named
Stayed so close to their mother's tail
With warmth and compassion in her mane
"Come now! My children," said she,
"And listen now to my tale of the night...
Rovers, travelers, all sing a song
To mark the passage of time.
I will tell you their stories, their telltale worries,
The legends and myths that come to my ears.
And may their tales and joys, their hearts of love and woe,
Teach us a lesson, and that they grant us peace."
The story she told, from former on latter,
Did inspire and shine that light in their eyes.
Their curiosity grew, until that fateful day,
When all memory was laid to rest...
What happened to the family, and their joys?
What happened to their thoughts, the stories and dreams?
Is all lost and not to be?
--The mists shroud the night, while the moon shines bright
Wherever the clouds may part..."
