This is the back of Riches boat now that the engine and drive are removed. The plan was to unbolt the drive and patch the holes and convert it to an outboard motor. Rich elected to use the saws-all method... He also found out how bad the transom was and how thin the fiberglass is... The hull is thinner than many 8 foot fiberglass are.

This photo doesn't really show the two dozen holes that need to be patched before we can reglass the transom... In short a lot of work to do it right.
