Ceara Nkosi hails from South Africa, but her reach extends far beyond the continent. She is a high level magic practitioner, and the newest inductee of the Magician's Council Elder Caps. Ceara uses Cosmic/Celestial magic. Modifying and manipulating things such as the magnetic and gravitational pulls of various bodies. The strength of her magic is largely dependent on the various cycles of the sun, moon, and stars. However, she has studied enough to fill her grimoire with spells and enchantments to keep her prepared no matter what the clock may read.

Do not let her age and size fool you. Ceara is one of a rare handful of magicians to successfully master the spell of Reincarnation. The preparations for the spell are so difficult, and the amount of mana required is absurdly high. So many things can go wrong in the process, that almost everybody who attempts to cast it perish. Ceara, knowing a spell like this was necessary given her own physical limits, proved herself worthy and was able to successfully enchant herself. Unlike a partial immortality spell, with which one can only die of a fatal injury, Ceara can and will eventually die of natural causes. But, when that happens, she will be reborn as another. She will also regain all the memories of her past lives after 4-5 years. For that matter, Ceara has actually been around since the 1100s, though her exact birthdate has been lost to history. She has taken many forms and surnames in that time, and she is a close friend of Hsiu-Mei's.

Ceara comes off as stoic and subdued, but beneath that still face lies the feisty attitude of a girl who refuses to take crap from anybody. Those who have the privilege of calling Ceara their acquaintance do not take it lightly, as her trust is hard to come by. Ceara understands her skills put her in a rank above most others, and uses her abilities with the utmost responsibility.
