Disclaimer: DutchAD's are only allowed to depict a muzzle ring marking if they are canonically from Paradise and when they were still allowed into Paradise. The youngling/hatchling artworks depicted are to show what a Dutch Angel Dragon used to look like before the loss of the muzzle ring marking (Or in this case, never having the ability to achieve a muzzle ring marking).
These artworks were created under permissions from the Archangels (including myself) and Telephone.
Please ask me permission or at the least credit me for the idea if you are to make a youngling/hatchling of your DutchAD, especially if you are to depict a muzzle ring marking.

Terra. Full of weak mortals. Yet strong in there own right and capable of going to paradise unlike them. Perfect imperfection. Perhaps it can learn something from them. A beautiful piece

I'm sorry if I misunderstand anything - Okay, I get you'd not want dozens of others drawing hatchlings now, but copyright it? I drew my DutchAD as hatchling over a year ago already, and I'm sure many others did too (actually there is one almost a year ago too, and some many months ago as well).
I just can't see why you would make this a "rule" or even go as far as copyrighting it - a life phase? It's like telling other people they're not allowed to draw their characters as babies or teenagers.
I might not be an active member of the community anymore but this is just... ridiculous, I'm sorry. A life phase is not someone's idea or anything, you know.
Again, I'm sorry if I misunderstood. But it does bother me, so I thought I'd say something and ask.

As I've said in my previous post, all is forgiven if anyone has made a hatchling/youngling whatever of their DutchAD. The reason why I ask for people to ask is so I can see the creations other people think of, in no way am I copy-writing it so others can't do the same thing, I'm saying it right now because people are asking about these. The "rule" you're implying is not written as one, but moreso as a disclaimer to let others know that 'hey, I thought of this. I know it will blow up in popularity, so I'll nip this in the bud' sort of deal.
In all due respects, I ask to ask me to be nice, if anyone decides to not ask me or credit me, whatever then. But it is nice to be acknowledged if someone gets the idea from you, you know? I'm not going to 'go after' anybody that does the same thing, but it's a kind of touchy subject to touch on when now suddenly a muzzle ring marking is involved with some of the hatchlings/younglings and then someone on the FB page tries to post it and not say anything about the muzzle ring marking being only from the past. Then it gets real messy. So I have the disclaimer there for anyone who would want to do this sort of thing, I'm quite aware some others have done the same thing, but I'm not mad about it. The hatchling/youngling idea has been kept secret for well over a year and I'm just now releasing everything, so everyone who has done them within that timeframe is just coincidence.
But I digress, please don't take this as if I'm trying to dissuade everyone from taking the idea and running away with it and I get all huffy about it. It's simply out of asking for kindness, acknowledgment, and most of all for those who ARE in the FB community to have a much easier time to have their picture approved a whole lot faster if they do create something like it. It's to let me know that 'hey, this person asked me about making one themselves, approved!'. I hope that makes sense.

Well, okay, but what I don't understand is that you say you had the idea for it, and honestly shouldn't it be fine if the person drawing it just states it's a thing of the past? When I drew mine nobody had a problem with it either, and the same goes for the other hatching pics of other users.
I know what you mean with the 'touchy subject' and all, I know how people can be, but if people really know the lore/story then there really shouldn't be a problem, right?
I really don't have a problem with what you're trying to achieve, but I just think it should be handled/worded differently, perhaps. There were lots of others who had the 'idea' of hatchlings - and given that it actually shouldn't make problems at all (it just takes one sentence to clarify)...
I just don't see why someone should credit somebody for the idea when it's actually just.. their own character being born/hatching? I also don't see any problems with the idea itself, if people spent time reading the lore then they know many did have their muzzle rings at some point. And if someone that drew a hatchling would simply write "This is before the DutchADs were banished from paradise" or something similar it would all be fine, I guess?
And from what I can tell you're not happy when others don't credit you, but okay with it? I don't know why honestly, others didn't ask for this when they had the idea themselves too, just like others had different ideas and later there were other versions of that too.

Im sorry but it does seem you misunderstand, it doesn't even say copyright anywhere so i don't see why you are insinuating that she is trying to copyright this. she simply asks credit if you are taking inspiration from it or ask to make something similar if you are going to be respectful of the fact she has made so many so far. she of course knows you can not copyright a life phase just like you cant copyright existing themes, colors ect, but considering there weren't really any posted before this aside from having "baby dutch angel dragons", those of which i have seen have not really had the egg with it, though i am sure there are other versions out there already, this is what has the request to ask or credit, which is a completely different definition from copyright. being an artist of your status you likely understand when you come out with something that it is instantly snatched up and used by either referencing or copying, and it is frustrating, so a simple request of credit that they go t the idea from these i don't think is ridiculous.
Okay, first of all - I'm not "insinuating" anything, it was clear what I meant, wasn't it? Sorry if I used the wrong word once or twice or something.
What I want to understand is why someone should credit this when the idea has long since been out there, and the idea itself isn't even something I would ever credit anyway - and yes there are multiple submissions (- WITH an egg as well -) out there, one of which was mine but was removed some time ago.
It's just something I simply can't understand, and I just asked ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Please don't take this the wrong way.
