Inspired by art in the old 1st and 2nd Edition AD&D manuals here's a little something i did up as a inn design for Roll20.net
the coat of arms was designed using the generator on the Inkwell Ideas site.

I like the coat of arms
Coincidentally, I've recently been doing a lot of research into heraldry- sort of trying to recreate my own families for a gift
If you like, pop me a message and I'll share what I know. If you explain the lore behind the place, I can offer lore-fitting changes.

Neat idea, but if you ever put more background into the families that run it, I could help you develop the coat of arms.
For example, this is just the 'Blazon', you're missing the helmet and crest, and if the family who originally owned it was of particular importance- supporters.

I always liked the idea of world building, of creating a society and universe from the very basics up
Letting things develop naturally, only adjusting things when chance comes into play-
And ending up with something beautiful
It's a small detail, but putting a lot of lore into the small details is what makes a world wonderful.
So I'd be totally down for sharing what I know, helping design one a bit more intricate
