Jay loves his feesh, hehe! XD Do you have some??? owo
Spur of the moment happy doodle that took a few hours and turned into this. Though my neck is not at all happy about it, lol. I don't feel it's on par with my previous post. Those ears are kicking my butt the most I think, but oh well, I'm still learning and experimenting with the flow of the lines... I'm also undecided on how I wanna do my signature...
Anyway, bring on the constructive criticisms! Thanks! ^^;

*shares my herring* hahaha
Your ears look like they're pointing to different directions, which may not be a bad thing at all. I actually struggle with the ears too, it is difficult to get them look right. For this particular angle you'd want both ears look more like the right one, the left edge being more visible than the right one on the left ear (if that made sense). If you have some plush around you could use one as reference even.
I'm really liking the expression here, so happy :D
(and seems you're not a big fan of whiskers :P ...?)

Yay! Feeeeshh! *nahms*
I was actually going for slightly different directions, but I still think the left one isn't sized right. And that is genius! I'll have to see about borrowing my girlfriend's "lil Jay" plush that I gave her, haha! She's so protective of it, it makes me jealous sometimes. XD
The expression is what I like most about it as well. ^.^ And actually I love whiskers. I even started to put some on this, but I wasn't feeling it, so I left em out. Will probably add em later. Though there are some instances where I do feel that whiskers are better off left out. Nothing to do with not liking them, I think it just looks better overall sometimes, if that makes sense. :3

I don't think the sizes are off, left side is a bit closer to the viewer, and would be slightly bigger looking at such an angle. The face is relatively flat looking, but depth is difficult to convey without shading and such. And lol, poor you :P
I love whiskers and most of my pics got them (sometimes I forget D:) but I always have them on separate layers because they're not easy to get right. You need some nice fast strokes to get a natural arc and gradual decerase of line width to make things look naiss.
