You inflamed quite my interest in that character! As far as I could get the info, he only appears in the 3rd season of slayers? Does he have much of screen time? Because he alon tempts me to buy the DVDs, but that season alone cost 60 bucks here.......

As far as I know he's only in the third season, often called Slayers TRY. He's really just a minor secondary villain character, and rarely succeeds in anything, although he does stick around for the whole season, appearing in maybe a third of the episodes.

I wouldn't really recommend buying the series for that much for him alone, he has almost no story impact, and only a couple good moments that you can probably find quite easily on YouTube, and if you don't mind watching the series with either English or Japanese voices, and don't mind the site having a few ads, you could watch it on KissAnime like I did, and then decide if you want the DVD set.

Thanks for the feedback. I would have been interested in the German version, but having the English one for free works with me. I'll check it out there. The fantasy theme of the show would normally be nothing I care about, but how often do you get to see a nice anthro fox in an anime? :b

Yeah I was quite surprised as well, since I thought he'd just appear for an episode or two, but actually ended up sticking around.

Oh, and just so you know, after the halfway point of the season, there is a four episode long filler nonsense which should be pretty easy to spot, and I don't recall seeing Jillas included there so those are fine to be skipped. I know I skimmed through them real fast, since I rarely like filler stuff.

Also, he first shows up in the second episode, and also gets a fairly major role in the episode right after the filler part.

Indeed, I hate filler stuff with a passion since Dragonball Z, which really messed with my patience with the masses of stupid and absolutely not interesting crap between and in between fights.

Do you know about a method to download that video material? Because I usually prefer to watch such content somewhere else than home. And basically I have bad experience with such online streams, being very unreliable.

What I didn't mention so far: I have taken a look at the character in a few scenes on Youtube, he looks pretty nice, even though missing some white patterns. Full red face is weird. Anyway, he looks good, but your picture looks even quite better than that =3 I am glad you have been sticking with foxes over the years, maybe even increased the pictures drawn, because you got the style for it. There is nobody else out there, whose lots of sketches I am interested in to look at. And for someone who draws 99.8% females, you got that male character very well done. It would be so awesome, to have more of such nice looking characters animated - which is a major reason why I am learning 3D animation. If there are not more people putting some great foxes (and vixens) in motion, I have to do it myself.
